PREFABRICATED TRUSS FLOOR SLABS

Prefabricated truss floor slabs are a prominent choice in lightweight prefabrication due to their construction advantages.

The truss beams for the floor slab are made of a triangular truss of B450C or B450A steel connected to clay blocks (with a base of 12 cm) by vibrated concrete with a characteristic strength of Rck≥ 30 N/mm².

The standard height truss of 12.5 cm consists of 3 bars (2 ø 5 mm lower and 1 ø 7 mm upper) connected with ø 5 mm welded stirrups.

The weight of the finished product is approximately 10 kg per metre.

Based on the span, slab height, applied loads, and constraints of the slab, additional B450C steel reinforcement is added according to the calculation results.

The main characteristics of this mixed-structure slab, consisting of beams and clay blocks, are:

Light weight, leading to ease of installation

Effective connection to supporting structures (reinforced concrete beams)

Monolithic nature, making it suitable for seismic zones

Usability for specific spans and overloads

The production of beams takes place in our facility using modern automated systems to ensure a high-quality and reliable product that complies with current regulations (D.M. 14/01/2008 “Technical Standards for Construction”).

The supply of the slab always includes the relevant CE and DOP (Declaration of Performance, Reg. EU 305/2011) certificates, assembly drawings, usage, handling, and storage instructions, any additional reinforcement, and, if requested, calculation reports signed by our technician.**
